All passenger cars in NC must have a VLT (volume of light transmission) that does not exceed 35%.

Is window tinting just for looks?

Answer:

Certainly not. Window tinting is not only the perfect restyling accent to any vehicle, but it also helps to reduce heat and glare in the summer time between 8-10 degrees. Does 35% tint look the same on every vehicle?

Answer:

No. There are a few factors that can change the appearance of your tinting. 1. Exterior color 2. Size of vehicle 3. Interior color 4. Time or condition of day (overcast cloudy day vs. bright and sunny day)

Both of these vehicles were tinted with the same film, but as you can tell they have a different look because of the time of day and/or whether conditions.

Is my extended cab truck limited to the same tinting restriction as my passenger car?

Answer:

Trucks, SUVs, Vans are allowed a darker privacy tinting on the rear section behind the driver & passenger front doors. Only the front doors on these vehicles are regulated to the 35% vlt.

What makes your tinting service any better than ABC company who's price is $30.00 cheaper?

Answer

Many times cheaper is not always better. ABC tinting company may be omitting some important things out of their price quote.

1. Film quality(cheaper tints & films are not as optically clear. ie.Blurred visability)

2. Turn around time(How soon will I get my vehicle back?)

At Classic normal turn around time is usually 3 hours or less

3. Installer experience (Our head installer has been installing for over 20 years)

4. Lifetime Warranty (Does ABC's warranty cover materials and labor? Is there a deductable? Is their warranty a nationwide "written" warranty?)

5. Installation quality( We guarantee a professionally installed window film with exceptional clarity)

6. Color stability

All window tints look reasonably good after installation, but how long is ABC Tint shop willing to guarantee their tint. Classic offers a automatic color stable warranty with every vehicle we tint.

If I have light sensitivity issues, Is it possible to have my windows tinted darker than 35%?

Answer

Yes. A medical waiver is available to individuals who qualify. We have posted the link to the NCDOT form that you must submit to start the submission process.

Why does Classic require a booking deposit in order to schedule an appointment?

Answer:

We get calls all the time from potential clients who are resistant about why we charge a $50 booking deposit in order to schedule an appointment. Quite simply, we have found in our 30 years of being in the window film industry, that individuals who are unwilling to do a deposit were:

A. Not serious about having their windows tinted in the first place.

B. Just trying to get a cheaper price so they make some one else drop their price.

In either scenario, it results in someone not showing up for an appointment. This wastes our time and energy. In our ongoing effort to provide the best tinting service in the Triad, we have found that our scheduling is more efficient when we book our appointments with a deposit.

To our current and future clients, thank you for your business and we really appreciate your patronage.

To the "Tire Kickers" and the time wasters, do us all a big favor and don’t bother to call.
